Afrobeats megastar Wizkid is baring it all in a deeply personal documentary set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 6th -7th-11th, 2025.

From the bustling streets of Surulere to the roaring crowds at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the film chronicles the singer’s meteoric rise and the emotional weight of fame.

Describing it as a project born during one of the most chaotic periods of his life, Wizkid shared on Instagram, “We made this documentary when life got crazy for me.

Playing Tottenham Hotspur Stadium while dealing with life. Glad I get to have my amazing fans and family on this journey with me. This is love from a real place.”

The documentary blends high-energy performances with raw behind-the-scenes moments, offering an unfiltered look into the complexities of success, mental health struggles, and the intense love from fans around the world.

Featuring interviews with five-time Grammy nominee Femi Kuti, Wizkid’s manager and partner Jada Pollock and others, the film positions Wizkid alongside legends like Fela Kuti and William Onyeabor in having their life and legacy immortalised on screen.

Beyond music, the documentary captures the pulse of Lagos and showcases how Wizkid continues to shape Africa’s global image through sound and story.
