Maikalangu Seeks Fresh Mandate

The Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council, Christopher Maikalangu, has declared his intention to seek a second term in the 2026 council elections.

Speaking through a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Public Affairs, Kingsly Madaki, Maikalangu promised to consolidate on his achievements by focusing more on education, health and economic development if re-elected.

He pledged closer collaboration with party executives and other stakeholders to deliver greater results for the people of AMAC.

In a show of confidence, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in AMAC, Alhaji Muktar Abubakar, expressed the party’s support for Maikalangu, assuring him of backing during the primaries and at the general polls.
