The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), has released details for its 2025 admission screening for the 77 Regular Course, with the nationwide screening test scheduled for May 24, 2025.
According to NDA spokesman Mohammad Maidha, only candidates who sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and selected NDA as their first choice are eligible to participate.
Applicants must score at least 180 in the UTME to qualify, while those applying for engineering courses must meet a higher benchmark of 210.
The screening will be conducted through a computer-based test format.
The academy cautioned prospective candidates to be vigilant and avoid falling victim to fraudsters operating fake social media accounts.
These impostors, the NDA said, often pose as academy representatives and request payment for admission slots.
Maidha stressed that the NDA does not collect payments for admission and that all authentic updates will be published in national newspapers or on the official NDA website.
For accurate information and clarification, applicants are advised to visit the NDA portal or reach out to the institution through its verified channels.
