President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday administered the oath of office to two new commissioners of the Independent National Electoral Commission and two members of the Code of Conduct Bureau at the State House in Abuja.
The brief swearing-in ceremony took place just before the year’s sixth Federal Executive Council meeting commenced.
Those inducted into INEC include Mallam Tukur Abdulrazaq Yusuf representing the North West and Professor Sunday Nwambam Aja from Ebonyi in the South East.
For the Code of Conduct Bureau, the new appointees are Ikpeme Kenneth Ndem of Cross River and retired Justice Buba Ibrahim Nyaure of Taraba.
President Tinubu is currently chairing the FEC meeting with key cabinet ministers and senior aides in attendance.
