The Minister of Defence, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar, has applauded Kebbi State for its remarkable strides in improving security, citing the governor’s leadership as a national example worth emulating.
During a strategic visit to Birnin Kebbi, the minister hailed Governor Nasir Idris for his unwavering support to security agencies, which he said has transformed the state from a hotspot of unrest into a safer and more stable region.
Badaru noted that the return of farmers to their fields and the rebound of local economies are direct results of effective collaboration between the state government and federal forces.
He conveyed President Bola Tinubu’s commendation to the troops on ground and urged them to sustain the momentum despite ongoing challenges.
