The Federal Government has launched a Digital Trade Desk to support Nigerian tech enabled businesses in accessing global markets and boosting digital exports.

Unveiled by the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, during the 8th annual Network of African Data Protection Authorities (NADPA), conference in Abuja, the platform aims to serve as a one stop hub for navigating international digital trade.

Dr. Tijani emphasized that the initiative is part of Nigeria’s broader plan to harness the digital economy by removing trade barriers and equipping entrepreneurs with tools for scaling globally.

The desk will complement other digital transformation efforts, including data protection training and cyber-identity platforms.
