Frustrated Federal Government contractors have taken to the streets in Abuja, launching an indefinite protest at the offices of the Accountant General and the Ministry of Finance.
The aggrieved group is demanding payment for certified projects completed since October last year.
Spokesman Kabir Tidjani said many contractors are drowning in debt after securing loans to fund government jobs, while ministries continue to bankroll luxury expenditures.
He vowed that the protest will hold daily until the government clears the outstanding payments, calling on other affected contractors to join the push for justice.
