A suspected vandal met a tragic end after being electrocuted while attempting to tamper with a transformer in the Ogbor Hill area of Aba.
Eyewitnesses said the man was interfering with the Wilcox Relief transformer when power was suddenly restored, delivering a fatal electric shock that ended his life on the spot.
At the time of filing this report, the Abia State Police Command had yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
