The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has released the 2025 UTME results, revealing a sharp performance dip as only 0.63 percent of nearly two million candidates scored above 300.
In data shared via its official X handle on Monday, JAMB disclosed that most candidates—50.29 percent—scored between 160 and 199, while a mere 0.24 percent crossed 320. Only 0.10 percent scored below 100.
The board also revealed that 40,247 underage candidates took part in the exam, with just 1.16 percent achieving standout scores.
Additionally, 97 candidates were penalised for misconduct, and 2,157 remain under investigation.
Over 71,000 candidates were absent. Results for those with biometric issues will be released after a rescheduled sitting.
A full breakdown is expected at a press briefing later this week.
