The Federal Capital Territory Administration has announced the construction of an entrepreneurship development centre aimed at equipping secondary school students with practical skills and a business mindset.
Dr Mohammed Ladan, Director of the FCT Secondary Education Board, revealed the initiative on Monday during a training workshop for teachers on innovation and entrepreneurship education in Abuja.
He said the facility, located at Government Secondary School in Giri, will be completed before the end of the year.
According to Ladan, the centre is being developed in partnership with Brunel University Business School in the United Kingdom, which has pledged to fully furnish and equip the facility upon completion.
“This centre is not just for Abuja. It will serve all 36 states and the FCT as a hub for entrepreneurship education,” he stated, highlighting its role in driving self-reliance and creativity among Nigerian youths.
