A wave of panic swept through fans and followers of music legend King Sunny Ade on Monday after his daughter, Damilola Esther Adeniyi-Adegeye, alleged on social media that the 78-year-old icon had been kidnapped.

Damilola accused the Juju maestro’s stepbrother and manager of allegedly holding him against his will and endangering his health.

Her emotional posts quickly gained traction online, fueling concern about the singer’s safety.

Adding to the drama, Instagram personality @Akanbitheduke echoed the alarm, claiming repeated failed attempts to reach King Sunny Ade directly and recounting the fears shared by a close friend of the family.

But in swift response, a source close to the veteran performer dismissed the claims as false, insisting the music icon is safe and in good health.

The aide urged the public to ignore the circulating stories.

As confusion lingers, fans remain on edge, hoping for a public appearance or statement to settle the swirling controversy.
