Legendary musician Dr. Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye, widely known as King Sunny Ade, has dismissed rumours of his alleged kidnap or disappearance, assuring fans that he is safe and in good health.
In a short video shared Tuesday on the X handle of TVC News, the music icon described the claims as completely false and fabricated, urging the public to disregard the alarming reports making rounds on social media.
“I am alive and well,” he said calmly, expressing deep gratitude to Nigerians and his global fan base for the outpouring of concern, phone calls, and prayers.
The clarifying message comes amid growing anxiety among fans following viral posts suggesting the Juju maestro had gone missing.
His reassurance has since brought relief to the entertainment world and the wider public.
