Remo Stars FC blazed into history on Sunday by clinching their first Nigeria Premier Football League title with a thrilling 1-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ogun State.
Olamilekan Adedayo sealed the moment with an 83rd minute strike, sending fans into wild celebration and etching the club’s name in Nigerian football history.
With three matches still left to play, Remo Stars not only lifted their maiden title but also became the first privately owned club to achieve the feat since Julius Berger’s triumph twenty five years ago.
The victory capped a remarkable season of grit, determination, and dazzling performances for the Sky Blue Stars.
