Members of the Rivers State Caucus in the National Assembly have declared full support for President Bola Tinubu’s reelection bid in 2027.
The group, made up of two Senators and seven House of Representatives members from the Peoples Democratic Party, made their endorsement public on Saturday in Port Harcourt through a statement read by Senator Barry Mpigi.
They hailed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda as the clearest path to Nigeria’s economic recovery and future prosperity, citing what they described as visible gains under his leadership.
The lawmakers, who supported Tinubu in the 2023 elections, pledged to rally the people of Rivers State once again for his return to office.
They also urged other politicians nursing presidential ambitions to step aside and join forces with Tinubu for the sake of national progress.
Signatories to the endorsement include Senator Barry Mpigi, Senator Allwell Onyesoh, Rt. Hon. Dumnamene Dekor, Solomon Bob, Hon. Felix Nwaeke, Hon. Kelechi Nwogu, Cyril Hart, Victor Obuzor, and Blessing Amadi.
