Unions of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency have suspended their strike action after a decisive intervention by the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo.

The strike, driven by grievances over poor working conditions and salary inequalities, has been paused until May thirteen next year to allow time for resolution.

Union leaders said their decision was based on good faith and confidence in the minister’s assurance.

Keyamo pledged quick government response, promising talks with the finance ministry and the presidency to address the demands and restore workplace peace.
