Nigerian forward Aliyu Ibrahim has completed a move to Columbus Crew from Houston Dynamo FC in a player-for-cash deal within Major League Soccer.
The 23-year-old penned a one-year deal with an option to extend for two more seasons.
Ibrahim brings with him a solid track record, having featured in 90 matches and netting 12 goals with nine assists for Dynamo across all competitions.
His impact helped Houston to major milestones, including winning the 2023 US Open Cup and reaching the Western Conference Final the same year.
He was also instrumental in setting new club records in 2024 for points and away wins.
Columbus Crew’s General Manager described Ibrahim as a young and dynamic attacker with the right experience to bolster the team’s frontline.
