Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has once again been shortlisted for the Best Goalkeeper award in the French Arkema Premier League for the 2024–25 season.
Nnadozie, who clinched the honour last year ahead of Olympic Lyon’s Christiane Endler and Paris Saint-Germain’s Katarzyna Kiedrzynek, will now face fresh competition from PSG’s Mary Earps and Endler in this year’s race.
The 24-year-old Paris FC standout is the first African and Nigerian to win both the league’s top goalkeeper prize and the National Union of Professional Footballers’ award in France.
This season, she boasts 10 clean sheets, trailing Endler with 13 but ahead of Earps with eight.
Since arriving in France in 2020, Nnadozie has risen to prominence as one of the continent’s elite goalkeepers, earning back-to-back honours at the CAF Awards and reinforcing her status as a force between the sticks.
