Shehu Shagari Way Set for May Launch

The long-awaited Shehu Shagari Way in Abuja is almost ready for use and will be inaugurated by May, according to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Wike gave the assurance on Wednesday during an inspection tour of major infrastructure projects in the city.

He visited the NICON Junction Interchange and the Shehu Shagari Way, which is designed to link with Wole Soyinka Way and ease traffic flow in the area.

The minister expressed satisfaction with the progress and quality of work so far, noting that the contractors are delivering according to plan.

He reaffirmed the FCT Administration’s commitment to completing all ongoing projects on schedule, promising that residents will soon begin to enjoy improved road infrastructure across the territory.
