Fake VIO Nabbed for Job Scam in Adamawa

Operatives of the State Intelligence Department in Adamawa have arrested a woman, Face Samuel, for impersonating a Vehicle Inspection Officer and swindling unsuspecting job seekers out of three hundred and fifty thousand naira.

Samuel, posing in a VIO uniform, allegedly deceived four individuals into believing she could secure them jobs at the State Ministry of Transportation.

Acting on credible intelligence, the police tracked and apprehended her.

During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the fraud and disclosed that she obtained the VIO uniform from an unknown source.

Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, has assured the public of thorough investigations to identify other possible victims and collaborators.

He urged citizens to remain vigilant and report suspicious individuals to security agencies promptly.
