The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has declared that suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, is yet to seek forgiveness or admit any wrongdoing deserving of reconciliation.

Wike’s remarks came through his media aide, Lere Olayinka, in response to calls by former militant leader Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, who had appealed for forgiveness in the interest of peace in the state.

Wike stressed that his grievances are not personal but tied to issues of governance and political loyalty.

He maintained that Fubara has turned his back on those who helped secure his rise to power.

Olayinka further questioned the governor’s shift in allegiance, reminding the public that Wike once stood firmly behind Fubara even at personal risk.
