All is set for the 2025 One Service One Medal Games as Nigeria’s top security and paramilitary agencies prepare to battle for glory in a high-energy sports showdown beginning Thursday, April 24 in Abuja.
The week-long competition will see elite athletes from across the nation’s uniformed services compete in fifteen sports ranging from football and swimming to boxing, golf, and taekwondo.
Events will unfold at key locations across the capital, including the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Jabi Lake, Old Parade Ground, Nigeria Air Force Base, and the FIFA Goal Project.
Organisers say the Games are designed not just to test athletic skill, but to promote discipline, teamwork, and unity among personnel while strengthening inter-agency collaboration.
The grand finale and medal presentation ceremony will take place on April 29 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, wrapping up what promises to be an intense display of strength, strategy, and national spirit.
