Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party will converge in Ibadan today, Monday for a high level meeting aimed at addressing pressing national matters.
The meeting, convened under the banner of the PDP Governors’ Forum, is expected to attract the full attendance of party leaders from across the country as they deliberate on strategies to strengthen the party’s position and respond to current political developments.
While the agenda has not been officially disclosed, Vanguard gathered that the governors will likely focus on issues of internal party cohesion, preparation for future elections, and the state of the nation under the current administration.
Party insiders hinted that the forum may also address rising concerns over economic challenges and security matters affecting their respective states.
