The Arewa Coalition of Youths has thrown its weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, vowing to deliver overwhelming support for his re-election bid in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking on behalf of the coalition, Director General Hon. Abubakar Aliyu, popularly known as Galadiman Takai, said the decision follows what he described as President Tinubu’s impressive achievements in his first year in office.
According to him, the coalition is determined to mobilise its over two million members, all with valid Permanent Voter Cards, to vote en masse for Tinubu.
“We are convinced that with our collective strength, we can help shape a brighter future for Nigeria,” Aliyu declared.
The group also praised the president for recognising the North by appointing several sons and daughters of Arewa into key positions within his administration.
They described the appointments as a clear sign of the president’s commitment to national inclusion and unity.
With this pledge, the Arewa youths have positioned themselves as a formidable force in the race to 2027, reinforcing Tinubu’s growing base of grassroots support across the country.
