The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has launched activities for the 2025 National Police Day with a community-focused initiative aimed at crime prevention and public awareness.
Commissioner of Police Ajao S. Adewale flagged off the three-day outreach themed “Say NO to Crime,” which runs from April 3 to 5.
According to Command Spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh, the campaign targets critical issues such as cultism, drug abuse, sexual violence, cybercrime, and kidnapping.
The event began with a Clean-Up Exercise at Lagos Street, Garki, and the Palace of the Sa’peyi of Garki, symbolizing the command’s commitment to fostering community trust beyond traditional policing.
The FCT Police reaffirmed their dedication to security and development, urging residents to join hands in making the capital a safer place for all.
