Popular cross dresser Idris Okunneye, known as Bobrisky, has alleged that he has been arrested by Nigerian immigration officials.

In a post shared on Instagram on Tuesday, Bobrisky claimed he was taken into custody without being informed of any offence.

“Guys, I have just been arrested by immigration in Nigeria. I do not know what I did,” he wrote.

The alleged arrest comes months after the social media personality announced he had left Nigeria to focus on his mental health.

In November 2024, he revealed that he had temporarily relocated, citing harassment from security agencies.

“Yes, I am here to confirm I am out of Nigeria temporarily… I need to attend to my sanity and my health. A few Nigerian security agencies tried everything to frustrate me but no, I have God,” he had stated.

The Nigerian Immigration Service has yet to issue an official statement regarding the claim.
