The Nigerian Meteorological Agency has predicted thunderstorms and fluctuating weather conditions across various regions from Tuesday to Thursday.
According to NiMet’s latest forecast, North-Central states, including the Federal Capital Territory, Benue, Nasarawa, and Kogi, will experience isolated thunderstorms on Tuesday morning, with storms later extending to Niger, Plateau, and Kwara.
On Wednesday, Kebbi, Zamfara, Taraba, Bauchi, Gombe, Adamawa, and Kaduna are expected to see thunderstorms, while North-Central states may witness storms in the afternoon and evening.
By Thursday, storms will affect Taraba, Benue, Kwara, and Kogi, while southern states will experience a mix of cloudy skies, sunshine, and isolated thunderstorms.
NiMet warned of strong winds before thunderstorms and advised residents to stay hydrated, avoid prolonged sun exposure, and take precautions against heat stress and meningitis.
