Senator Ireti Heebah Kingibe, representing the FCT, has endorsed the GreenMyStreet Abuja campaign, emphasizing its role in fostering a climate-smart economy and improving public health.
As Deputy Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Climate Change, Kingibe highlighted the initiative’s impact in engaging 620,000 eco-citizens and establishing a zero-waste future through recycling infrastructure.
She also pledged support for the Development2RUHOPE Initiative, a Pan-Abuja platform driving community-based inclusion and impact investments.
Victor Wilkinson Agih, Director General of 2RUHOPE, stressed the initiative’s role in advancing green jobs, finance, and innovation, integrating eco-tokens, clean energy solutions, and sustainable mobility to accelerate SDG 12 targets.
