New FCT Police Chief Vows Smart, Secure Policing

The newly appointed Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory, CP Ajao Saka Adewale, has assured residents of a safer Abuja through intelligence driven policing and advanced security technology.

Speaking at his maiden meeting with senior police officers in Abuja on Thursday, Adewale outlined his strategy, which includes the deployment of CCTV cameras, drones, and digital crime mapping to enhance real time monitoring and rapid response to criminal activities.

He also announced plans for a fully operational twenty four hour Command and Control Centre to strengthen emergency response.

The commissioner emphasized the need for stronger collaboration between the police, security agencies, and local communities to improve intelligence gathering and crime prevention.

Assuming office as the thirty third FCT Commissioner of Police, Adewale reaffirmed his commitment to making Abuja a safer city through proactive and technology driven policing.
