Senate President Godswill Akpabio has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC), will secure Kano State in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at the National Assembly during a visit to Senator Basheer Lado, Akpabio pointed to the strong influence of Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, and Senator Lado as key factors in ensuring victory.
He praised Lado for his role in maintaining a smooth relationship between the Executive and the Senate, noting that private government communications have remained secure under his watch.
According to Akpabio, Lado’s efforts over the past eight months have strengthened governance by fostering synergy between the Legislature and the Presidency.
