The Ajimobi family has been thrown into mourning following the passing of Bisola Kola Daisi, the first child of the late former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

She died at the age of 44 after a brief illness in the United Kingdom on Wednesday.

Bisola, a respected entrepreneur and philanthropist, was a trailblazer in Nigeria’s luxury retail sector.

She was the Managing Director of Grandex Nigeria Limited, a leading retail and wholesale chain, and the founder of Florence H. Luxury boutique.

Her influence in business and commitment to excellence set her apart in an industry largely dominated by men.

Her husband, Kolapo Kola Daisi, expressed his devastation, saying, “The world has lost a shining star. Bisola was not just my wife; she was my partner in everything. Her spirit will live on in our children.”

Beyond her business success, Bisola was dedicated to public service.

She served as a special adviser to the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu, playing a role in Nigeria’s economic development.

Tributes have been pouring in from across the country, with many remembering her warmth, generosity, and passion for excellence.

The Ajimobi family now faces the difficult task of bidding farewell to a beloved daughter whose legacy in business and philanthropy will not be forgotten.
