The Independent National Electoral Commission has officially notified Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan of a petition seeking her recall from the Senate.
In a letter dated March 26, 2025, INEC Secretary, Mrs. Rose Oriaran Anthony, stated that the petition was submitted by registered voters from her constituency in accordance with Section 69 of the 1999 Constitution as amended.
The notification aligns with Clause 2(a) of INEC’s 2024 Recall Guidelines. Copies of the letter have been sent to the Senate President and published on INEC’s official website.
