Nigerian singer Abdulazeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has urged the public to judge him for his actions rather than link his lifestyle to his religion.

In a post on his X handle, the controversial artist stressed that while Islam is perfect, Muslims are not.

He insisted that any mistakes he makes should not be used to criticize his faith.

“Islam is perfect, Muslims are not. If I make a mistake, blame me, but not my religion,” he wrote.

His statement comes amid ongoing scrutiny of his personal life and the controversies surrounding him.
