Nigerian travel content creator Alma Asinobi is on the brink of history as she moves closer to breaking the Guinness World Record for the fastest journey across all seven continents in just 60 hours.

The 26-year-old has already covered six continents and is determined to complete her extraordinary feat.

Asinobi, who embarked on this challenge to inspire travelers with low mobility passports, opened up about the obstacles she has faced and the purpose behind her record attempt.

“Even if I do not break the record, I just want to finish what I started. I want to prove that limitations are not denials.

“I just wanted to help someone out there with a low mobility passport like mine dream beyond all the restrictions,” she said.

She shed light on the difficulties Nigerians and citizens of developing nations face in global travel, stating, “I just wanted conversations to start so my fellow Nigerians can enjoy the beauty of access that developed countries enjoy.

“I did not want the dreams of my people to be restricted because of the colour of their passport.”

Reflecting on her experience, Asinobi described the journey as deeply transformative.

“This journey has taught me way more than I set out to learn. I am taking the sweet with the sour and hoping that one day – hopefully in my lifetime – we see change. From where I am standing, we are nowhere close to that day, but I know it is possible.”

As she approaches the final leg of her journey, Asinobi remains determined, carrying the hopes of many Nigerians and travelers around the world who dare to dream beyond borders.
