Popular comedian and content creator Mr Macaroni has revealed how he lost N500 million to a scam and a failed investment, leaving him in deep debt and emotional distress.
Sharing his ordeal on X, formerly known as Twitter, he admitted that between 2021 and 2022, he lost all his savings and had to borrow money to survive, which trapped him in a cycle of debt.
He warned against borrowing unless absolutely necessary, blaming financial recklessness for worsening his situation.
Adding to his pain, he disclosed that someone he trusted as a close friend and sister betrayed him, making the experience even more devastating.
Despite the setback, Mr Macaroni said 2024 has marked a major turning point in his career as an actor and producer, although it remains his toughest year yet.
