Nigerian street pop sensation Portable has stirred controversy after publicly confronting Fuji legend Saheed Osupa over the removal of his song from streaming platforms, only to later apologize.
The clash erupted when Osupa’s team took down Portable’s track, citing copyright infringement.
Enraged, Portable took to Instagram, blasting Osupa as “big for nothing” and accusing him of being unsupportive, unlike fellow Fuji icon Pasuma.
“If you cannot embrace me, I will drag you,” Portable ranted. “Pasuma never reported my song, but you did. Keep your distance if you cannot support me.”
However, in a dramatic turnaround, Portable later posted another video, pleading for forgiveness and blaming his reaction on his short temper.
“King Saheed Osupa, please forgive me. I was angry because my song was removed. My fans, help me beg him,” he said.
The incident has ignited debate among fans, with opinions divided over Portable’s outburst and subsequent apology.
