The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has approved the procurement of a Microsoft 365 license for the Federal Capital Territory Internal Revenue Service (FCT-IRS) to enhance its digital transformation initiatives.

The approval was announced by the Acting Executive Chairman of FCT-IRS, Mr. Michael Ango, on Wednesday following an FCT Executive Committee meeting chaired by Minister Nyesom Wike in Abuja.

Ango stated that the adoption of Microsoft 365 would streamline revenue collection by automating manual processes, improving internal communication, and ensuring efficient record-keeping.

“The software will facilitate cloud storage, reduce reliance on paper, and align with the administration’s goal of modernizing operations to boost revenue generation,” he added.
