The Non Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions has given the management of the West African Examinations Council a seven day ultimatum to address concerns over workers’ welfare and alleged victimization of labour leaders.
General Secretary Prince Peters Adeyemi announced at a press briefing in Lagos on Monday that if the demands were not met, all WAEC offices across Nigeria would be shut down indefinitely from Monday, March 24.
He warned that the union would no longer tolerate neglect of its members’ rights and called for urgent intervention.
