The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has forecasted thunderstorms across several states, including Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt, on March 13, 2025.
In a weather alert posted on X on March 12, NIMET listed Minna, Lokoja, Akure, Asaba, Ibadan, and other locations as likely to experience heavy rainfall, with strong winds expected to precede the storms.
Residents in the affected areas have been urged to take necessary precautions and stay updated with weather reports to ensure safety.
