Nigerian singer Korede Bello has opened up about his journey of self-discovery and inner peace, addressing fans’ concerns about his absence from the limelight.

In a reflective Instagram post, Bello emphasized the importance of personal growth over public validation, sharing insights on fame, identity, and mental well-being.

Reacting to fans constantly asking, “Where have you been?”, the Godwin crooner said he finds it surprising because he has always been present—with himself.

He stressed that knowing oneself is more important than public recognition, adding, “It’s better for the world to ask, ‘Where have you been?’ than for you to ask yourself, ‘Who am I?’”

Bello also highlighted the struggles of stardom, noting that fame and fortune don’t guarantee inner peace.

“You can be extremely rich and famous but lost inside your mind,” he remarked, urging people to embrace change and prioritize self-worth.

Ending on a poetic note, he likened himself to sunlight, assuring fans that just because they don’t see him doesn’t mean he isn’t shining.

His message resonated deeply, sparking conversations about mental health and personal evolution in the entertainment industry.
