Grief and outrage swept through Nnewi, Anambra State, on Saturday as the three Ejezie siblings—Chikaima (9), Chimziterem (8), and Chimdirim (5)—brutally murdered and hidden in a deep freezer, were laid to rest.
Their remains, discovered on February 1, were buried at their family compound in Uga, Aguata LGA, amid emotional scenes of mourning.
At the requiem mass at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Cardinal Ebere Okpalaeke likened their deaths to the biblical tragedy of Cain and Abel, describing them as martyrs and calling for justice.
The horrific killings have sparked widespread outrage, with demands for a full investigation to expose those responsible for the chilling crime.
