Diplomats from Commonwealth nations will join Nigerian students in Abuja on March 10 for the 2025 Commonwealth Day celebration, as announced by Minister of Education, Dr. Marufu Adetunji Alausa.
With the theme “Together We Thrive,” the event will showcase a grand flag parade featuring students in national attire, symbolizing the unity and resilience of the 56-member Commonwealth.
Alausa has mandated state education ministries and the Universal Basic Education Board (UBEC) to ensure participation from schools nationwide, fostering awareness, critical thinking, and a vibrant learning experience.
The celebration aims to promote collaboration, innovation, and sustainable development among future leaders.
