Presidency Cuts Cost, Embraces CNG Powered VIP Buses

Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Chief Wale Edun, has inspected a locally designed and manufactured Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), VIP bus set to be presented to the Presidential Fleet.

The bus, produced in Onitsha and Lagos, is a gesture of appreciation from CNG ecosystem players for President Bola Tinubu’s support for the industry.

Accompanied by PCNGI Program Director, Engr. Michael Oluwagbemi, Edun lauded the innovation, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to clean energy and local manufacturing.

The initiative aligns with Nigeria’s push for sustainable transportation and economic growth through homegrown solutions.
