A widespread power outage has hit multiple areas in Abuja, with the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) attributing the disruption to a technical fault.
In a statement on Thursday via its X (formerly Twitter), account, AEDC listed affected areas, including Kajah Estate, Navy Estate, Mararaba Loko, Pyanko, Karshi, Gishiri, Lingu Crescent, Agape Hotel, Zenith Bank, FCDA Quarters, Polaris Bank, and the Glov Regional Office.
The company assured residents that its technical team is working to restore power as soon as possible and apologized for the inconvenience caused.
