Amid escalating security concerns, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has deployed additional personnel to Bwari Area Council to combat kidnappings and other criminal activities.
The Commandant-General, Dr. Abubakar Ahmed Audi, issued the directive on Wednesday during the inauguration of the NSCDC Bwari Divisional Headquarters, a facility donated by the Bwari Area Council to bolster security operations.
The move follows the commissioning of the newly remodeled NSCDC FCT Command Quarter Guard, where Audi charged officers to stay vigilant, disciplined, and committed to their duties.
Commending the Chairman of Bwari Area Council, Hon. John Gabaya, for enhancing security infrastructure, Audi reassured residents that government efforts have significantly reduced crime rates in the FCT.
