Former President Olusegun Obasanjo hosted an exclusive gathering in Lagos, bringing together key political and traditional figures, including ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

The high-profile dinner, held at The Delborough Hotel, Victoria Island, also had in attendance former Sierra Leonean President Ernest Bai Koroma, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and his wife, Toyin.

Atiku, who served as Obasanjo’s deputy from 1999 to 2007, confirmed the meeting via a post on his X handle, while Saraki revealed that the event was in honor of Obasanjo’s upcoming 88th birthday.

The gathering underscores Obasanjo’s continued influence in Nigeria’s political landscape.
