FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has called on Muslims to use the Ramadan period to pray for Nigeria’s peace and embrace the spiritual guidance of Islamic teachings.

In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant, Lere Olayinka, Wike emphasized that Ramadan should go beyond fasting, urging Muslims to open their hearts to the Tesfir of the Holy Month and seek divine intervention for the nation.

He congratulated the Muslim faithful on the start of the 30-day fast, wishing them a Ramadan filled with joy, togetherness, and abundant blessings.

“May your ibadah be acceptable to Allah. Ramadan Mubarak,” Wike said.
