Nigeria Shines at LEAP 2025, Showcasing Tech Innovation

Nigeria made a bold statement at LEAP 2025, the world’s premier tech event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as top government officials, business leaders, and innovators highlighted the country’s growing influence in the global digital economy.

Leading the charge was Folajimi Daodu, CEO of Vault Hill, who spearheaded discussions on fintech, AI, blockchain, and digital transformation, reinforcing Nigeria’s position as a tech powerhouse.

At the event, Prof. Oludele Awodele of Babcock University explored AI, data sovereignty, and blockchain in education, while Olaolu Williams, CEO of Wyre Energy, advocated for Africa’s green energy future.

Prof. Leonard Uguru, Ebonyi State’s Finance Commissioner, addressed fintech regulation versus innovation, and Ladun Awobokun, CCO of FilmOne Limited, discussed AI’s role in filmmaking.

Beyond the event, the Nigerian delegation engaged with the Nigerian Embassy in Riyadh, discussing foreign direct investment, trade partnerships, and global business expansion.

With Nigeria’s tech sector gaining global recognition, LEAP 2025 cemented the nation’s status as a rising force in digital innovation.
