Former presidential candidate and Afenifere Youth Council leader, Eniola Ojajuni, has regained his freedom after 12 harrowing days in captivity.

Ojajuni was abducted on February 17 in Abuja while heading to a meeting, with kidnappers demanding a staggering N100 million ransom.

A distressing video showed him at gunpoint, pleading for help.

Following intense pressure and intervention by the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and the Intelligence Response Team, Ojajuni was finally released under undisclosed circumstances.

His abduction sparked national outrage, with calls for urgent security reforms. A relieved family member confirmed his release, bringing an end to the tense ordeal.
