Wike Strengthens Abuja’s Global Ties, Boosts Business-Friendly Agenda

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has reaffirmed his commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment in Abuja while enhancing diplomatic ties with Egypt and Morocco.

During a recent meeting with the Egyptian Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Mohammed Fouad, Wike praised Egypt’s contributions to Nigeria’s economy, particularly the work of Arab Contractors on the vital Airport Expressway to Kuje project.

He also expressed interest in deepening partnerships in agriculture and vocational training.

The Egyptian envoy lauded Wike’s infrastructure strides, commending his recognition as “Mr. Project” and “Best Minister of 2024.”

He highlighted the success of Arab Contractors as a model for Nigeria-Egypt collaboration, with over 95% Nigerian employees.

In a separate meeting, Wike hosted Moroccan Ambassador Moha Tagma to discuss stronger diplomatic ties and support for constructing Morocco’s new embassy in Abuja.

Wike pledged full assistance and accepted an invitation to visit Rabat for future partnership talks.

Reaffirming his commitment to the diplomatic community, Wike emphasized his administration’s focus on providing a secure, supportive environment for international relations and business operations in the FCT.
