Former Kano State Governor and leader of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration, claiming that many Nigerians are discontented with its governance.
Speaking at the NNPP National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja on Thursday, Kwankwaso highlighted the nation’s struggles with economic hardship, insecurity, and deteriorating infrastructure under the current government.
He expressed confidence that the NNPP could unseat the APC and other rival parties in the 2027 elections, provided the electoral process is free and fair.
Addressing rumors of internal discord, Kwankwaso dismissed such claims as fabrications by external forces aimed at destabilizing the party.
